fun finds: february beauty must-haves

hard to believe that february is already coming to an end. i *love* trying new products and these five are my current beauty must-haves. 

1. jack black intense therapy lip balm -- black tea & blackberry
the lip balm is creamy and thick and the scent is simply fabulous. it's the perfect blend of a luxury product with the fun, modern scent/flavor. this lip balm is my favorite on-the-go item to have in my purse and workout bag.

2. opi nail envy
i don't have the best nails. with stress and anxiety comes nail biting/picking for me and it's hard to get my nails to stay strong and looking good. i am always on the lookout for a good nail strengthener and have really been happy with this product. it really is making a big difference in my nails.

3. rodan + fields redefine products
i hadn't heard of rodan and fields until a friend from college told me about them. the drs that invented proactiv created a new line of products that, in addition to a line that treats acne, they also have these awesome lines to target aging skin, like mine. my friend, heather sent me some samples and i am hooked. truly. my skin has never felt this amazing and i even had a couple people comment on how i am "glowing". i'll take it! i am placing an order stat. 

4. trader joes coconut body butter
if you have a trader joe's near you run and get some of this body butter. i picked the product up on a whim one day and now i can't get enough. it is so moisturizing and the scent is light and tropical and instantly transports me mentally to a beach in hawaii. a mental vacation to hawaii? not as good as being there in person, but sign me up!

5. nutraluxe md
i naturally have pretty long lashes, but with age i have noticed that they seem a little thinner and sparse. i started using this product that a friend recommended to me and it's truly amazing the difference it has made in my lashes. people have started asking me if i got extensions! ha! its super easy to apply and you get beautiful, long lashes without the upkeep and cost of eyelash extensions. sounds like a win-win to me.

fun finds: top valentine's day gifts for dads

1. buoy by turnstone -- i get it. it may not seem like the likely top pick for our valentine's guide....but i'm telling you this: it's amazing. genelle and i have been testing out the buoy's in our own homes for a few weeks now and we are seriously in love. i am such a convert to this awesome chair that i have donated my previous desk chair and i am never looking back. they have a large variety of color variations to choose from so there is sure to be one to fit your valentine's style. it will be the best valentine gift he has ever received. truly. 

2. bose quiet comfort headphones -- the very best for the daddy that travels or needs to get some work done at home and might need a little help drowning out the noise from your munchkins.

3. mens leather travel case -- why should us mama's have the cute travel toiletries bag? give your love one of these beautiful, personalized, leather ones.

friday fun finds: fridge coaster

i have a new favorite product to share with you and it's called "fridge coaster". not only does this product make the shelves and drawers of my fridge look *super* cute but it keeps it tidy as well!

fridge coasters are super absorbent "liners" that come in tons of different sizes to fit any fridge that you may have. the colors and patterns had be sold at first glance.....i went with the tangerine color but they also have grey, pink, yellow, turquoise and purple....there is something for everyone!

my favorite places for the fridge coasters so far has been in the crisper drawers (they have kept my veggies and fruit fresher for longer)! I also love having them on the shelf where the milk and juices are---something always seems to drip and now i find myself cleaning up the fridge hardly at all! heaven!!!

some of my most favorite products are things that i didn't even know that i needed and now i can't imagine my life without. fridge coaster has found a customer for life in me. try one out----you won't be disappointed and your fridge will be the envy of every mommy that comes over!
